Joan Jackson is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and presently resides in San Diego, California.  As a former NFL Player’s wife, she is a parent of her two teenage sons.  Her oldest son Josh is following his collegiate dream of being a football player and Jordan is currently in high school and pursuing a music career as a producer, songwriter and a rapper.

Joan movingly chronicles her climb out of despair and how she found faith in herself again.  Her remarkable healing inspired women who she came into contact with or knew what she had gone through.  Women began to call on Joan for her inspirational advice.  At first, many of these women were sports wives, but soon the circle grew.  She began to counsel women from all imaginable walks of life and thus penned her self help book, The playbook.

 Joan has done a wealth of things in her life so far.  She was the president of the Jackson Foundation.  She has also participated in Women's Bible Seminars, the NFL Wives Association, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Battered Women's Shelters, as well as family and sports talk shows.  Joan has also been involved with various conferences as a participant.

These gatherings have shaped Joan’s passion and her drive to heal the hearts of other women.  Joan’s natural ability of listening and her unshakeable faith in God allow women to open their hearts and share their pain.
